Detailed below are a small number of testimonials from commissioners, SENCO’s, teachers and parents.
"From my point of view the sessions have gone really well and the 3 boys concerned have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of this programme. All of the boys have looked forward to their sessions and one of the boys told Katie yesterday that he had missed her the previous week when they hadn't been able to have their session because they were doing assessments across the school. It has been a real pleasure having Katie in school and I know she quickly built up a good relationship with each of the boys. All boys were very sad when she told them yesterday that tomorrow will be their last week. One of the boys said 'Does that mean we will never see you again?!'
The session has been more productive for 2 out of the 3 boys. The third boy has a very difficult home life and he is reluctant to share personal information. However I still believe that although he has found some of the aspects of the coaching tricky due to his level of learning he will have gained some strategies to support him as he goes through life.
The class teacher of the other 2 boys has fed back that she has recently seen both boys looking more confident around school. Recently I have seen a sense of humour in one of the boys that I haven't seen before. Both boys seem to be approaching their learning in a more positive way and both boys say they have learnt some strategies for coping with situations that they find tricky.
Overall I would like to say a big thank you to both Katie for working so well with the boys and to yourselves for allowing them the opportunity to be part of the empowerment coaching. We as a school have benefitted as well as the children and their families.
Thank you once again"
"The school has worked with Jepeca for nearly 2 terms and we have had several children receive the coaching. Jepeca have been professional in their approach to working with the school and the children. There has been very good communication. The service, which was offered, was what our children received and it was not intrusive to their learning time in class. Our coach Julianne has been fantastic to work with. She is very approachable and accommodating to the needs of the school. She has provided us with great feedback with regards to the work she has carried out with the children and where they may be at that moment in time with their self-esteem etc. We have referred year 5 and 6 children all to have been boys who have had either behaviour, anger or other issues which have concerned us as a school. I have not spoken to the children as individuals regarding the coaching but the over all view is the children have responded positively to the coaching. The children who were in the second round of coaching were keen to take part as they had heard from their friends how good it was. The children's behaviour has improved and their response to certain situations has changed and situations are diffused quickly without any fuss by the children themselves. The children seem to be using the techniques given to them not just in school but also at home as we have had some positive feedback from parents who have noticed the difference in their child and how they are dealing with different situations. The impact of the coaching has been quick and has had a positive impact on their learning as well as emotional well-being.
We would definitely recommend Jepeca coaching to other schools."
"From the very first session I began to notice a difference in Z. The woman who was dealing with Z (I’m sorry I forgotten her name) bonded with Z immediately and Z was smiling and talking for quiet a considerable time to me about the entire session.
Z enjoyed the sessions, the games and the encouragement she was given, looking forward to each week and a noticeable difference in Z outlook of situations and how she feels about different aspects of herself and others towards her.
We were going to Great Ormond Street at first to see a psychologist and although this was okay Z did not bond with the psychologist and we were grateful for your input with Z problem.
Although Z has now finished her 7 sessions and seems to be feeling much better now on being herself every day. I would be grateful if I could call upon you if ever Z lapses or feels the need for empowering, you would, in my mind be the best help forward for her.
I would like to thank you with all of my heart, my daughter is very precious and you have helped give back that spark of love and light that you see again."
"X was so much more relaxed after you explained how to use the bubble. He was finally able to successfully ignore nasty comments from those who were bulling him. This is a ‘priceless tool’ because he always felt unable to laugh at the bullies in order to stop them. He is now also able to stop himself getting angry or upset, I can see him stop himself and he takes a step back and apologises if that is appropriate. He is more in control.
X is so much happier so we have all benefited at home with less confrontations and much more understanding. X was being bullied (for years) and had very low self esteem. He felt he had no friends and was better off dead and it was very difficult to find out why he was like this and difficult to help. With coaching he is so much happier and able to see things differently. He is now able to go to school without worrying about the other and what they will say.
He is happier and therefore nicer to be around and more people want to be with him. Before he just thought it would be easier if he were dead.
X still has his moments where he is not positive about himself. I think that seven weeks is not really long enough as his self esteem was so very low. He has the tools to help him deal with things now but I am not so sure he is yet strong enough to keep them up. He needs them reinforced by a professional to keep him on track.
I would like to see him to be able to have a much more positive attitude about himself and to not underrate his achievements. I want him to become more confident. I think this can be achieved by more ‘top up’ sessions targeting these issues. I hope that this may be possible.
I will be writing to the school headmistress telling her how very successful your work with X has been. It is lovely to see his true personality come out which I fear could have been lost!
Thank you so very much."
"One of my children has been suffering for the last few years with extreme emotional difficulties and bullying, which has been the result of some very traumatic times.....I am thrilled to say that I have found the most wonderful lady...Julianne Hadden who runs a company called Jepeca Empowerment Coaching......This coaching, after just 2 sessions has made a dramatic difference to his life, and I truly recommend that if you know of any child that can benefit from this service that you speak to your school or get in touch with her directly. Please use the link above. This is a truly amazing service and Julianne has made a real difference to many young peoples lives."
“I cannot comment on individual children’s experiences of the coaching. I am in a position to feedback that we, as an organisation concerned with supporting children are very happy with the reported outcomes. We have found the programme to be accessible to a wide range of children in our schools. It is focused and not a time consuming programme which is attractive to schools as children are not missing large chunks of learning. Schools have reported to me that they like the programme and are keen for students to access the programme. The feedback from the individual children that have received the coaching is overwhelmingly positive. It is great that Jepeca have designed a form that makes it easy to measure impact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

"From our first meeting I was totally impressed with Julianne’s professionalism, enthusiasm and sheer commitment to her Empowerment Coaching programme.
The impact of Julianne’s work with students was swift and significant with parents calling to say what a positive difference Julianne had made to their child’s emotional well-being.
From a student’s perspective, Julianne’s involvement resulted in a student feeling ‘magical’ after only 6 weeks work.
From a school’s perspective, Julianne’s work was rated as the singular most effective intervention that the school had seen in several years.
